My 2008 Offseason Plan (Ver 2.0)
By Blake Atkins
HOUSTON -- Since Mike Miller was recently traded to Minnesota, I decided to do another version of my Offseason Plan. Let's just go ahead and get started...
Trade 1
Package Rafer Alston and Bobby Jackson (with some kind of draft pick) to the Chicago Bulls for Kirk Hinrich. Houston gets there starting point guard and the Bulls get rid of Hinrich's contract and a back up point guard in Alston to take the spot of Duhon, who just left to join the Knicks.
Trade 2
Trade Luther Head and Chuck Hayes to the Atlanta Hawks for Zaza Pachulia and some kind of draft pick. Houston gets a trade asset with Pachulia's expiring contract and the draft pick, while freeing up a roster spot. Atlanta gets a young talent in Head and a defensive stopper power forward in Hayes.
