HOUSTON -- On the trading dealine, the Rockets picked up two quality basketball players, but did they give up too much? This is how the trade went down...

Bonzi Wells could have been a huge difference in the play-offs, against such teams as the Spurs. Mike James really never found his niche in Houston, so getting rid of his contract was great. Houston getting Bobby Jackson could pay huge dividens in the play-offs.
With a starting point guard like Rafer Alston, you need a very good back up. Aaron Brooks has had a very good rookie season, but the play-offs is nothing like the reguar season. Jackson will give them the veteran they need to play heavey minutes if and when Rafer has a annual shooting slump in the play-offs.
