Rockets to acquire Artest, loose Greene
By Blake Atkins

HOUSTON -- The Rockets are about to make the biggest potential impact trade since probably the McGrady-Francis swap. Houston is set to trade away Bobby Jackson, Donte Greene, and there 2009 first round draft pick to the Sacramento Kings for Ron Artest.

The deal can't become offical until August 14th because Greene was signed on July 14th is a month must be allowed before you may trade a rookie.

This trade finally gives Houston a 3rd scoring option, plus the defense will not suffer but improve. Artest is one of the best two-way players in the league with his ability to play lock down defense and also being able to get you 15 to 20 points a night.
Artest averaged 20.5 PPG last season
